Rhigamordus is a legendary dwarven hero, known for being capable of wrestling with dragons. He is now a retired blacksmith.

Biography[]

Early Years[]

Rhigamordus is a 6'5 dwarf that was known for wrestling dragons. He eventually retired and became a blacksmith, living on the Wreenwood Rest Area.

Life in the Wreenwood Rest Area[]

At some point he tried to get rid of a cursed golden dagger by randomly throwing it out of his home, not caring if some traveler found it. The dagger landed in a nearby well, but would be found by the Lynda's party members. Jamie, from Jamie's Janky Shop would call Rhigamordus after being threatened by Manus of Lynda's group. Rhigamordus would smell the knife after a long argument between Manus and Karkowski Hanson of Lynda's group, takes it off of Manus, and return to his home.

Death[]

Rhigamordus mysteriously leaves retirement and takes control of The Guild of Heroes. Some time afterwards, he crushes the skull of Sahde Shambles, showing The Old Sage through a mindstone. He goes to Shandus along with several dwarves and Guild of Heroes recruits to investigate rumors of the city. They meet with a spy and are told that they have to save Manus and the Guardians of the Nine. Rhigamordus agrees and the group rushes into the castle, freeing Manus from his cell. The group goes to the dining room and gives the Guardians of the Nine an opportunity to escape. After all of Rhigamordus' men are killed, he barely escapes. He sees the Guardians escaping and waves good bye, until he is stabbed in the throat by a resurrected Shade Shambles.

Trivia[]

  • Rhigamordus being a 6'5 dwarf makes him interesting as well as intimidating.
    • Most dwarves are usually 4-5 feet tall.
  • Rhigamordus is blind in his left eye, and has a scar over it. However, this did not come from a dragon.
    • Rhigamordus has a large scar on his chest from a dragon.
  • Rhigamordus seems to be the peace keeper of the area, which explains why there are no guards in the area.
  • When first meeting Rhigamordus, the Dungeon Master specifically told them to, under any circumstance, NOT FIGHT RHIGAMORUDS. This is most likely due to Rhigamordus killing all of the player's characters.
    • Krakowski nearly ignored this warning, but chose to follow after noticing the terrified look on the Dungeon Master's face.
